Audio Nomad is an ongoing recording project combining cutting edge electronic music, sound design and an eclectic mix of ethnic instruments and atmospheres from around the globe. All this fused together in a contemporary song format.

It's an undertaking conducted predominately for artistic rather than commercial reasons with a percentage of any profits going to charities such as Amnesty International. To give the finished CD a truly unifying global feel, part of the brief is to attract musicians and vocalists, both professional and otherwise, from around the World who are willing to contribute to the venture pro bono via the internet.

The original idea for the project evolved when Nomad's founder member Andy Davies was commissioned to write music for a TV series investigating the disparate and disappearing ways of life of various remote tribes scattered around the planet.
